will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. 16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

Look in the NKJV
and notice in Genesis - Sabbaths is capitalized

- (sabbath) lower case meaning ceremonial feast sabbaths which were nailed to the cross.

After Christ was crucified all other sacrifices became inferior, nailing them to the cross.

Hallowed - Sanctified - Blessed
Holy - Remember - Keep - Sabbath
have an
extremely significant importance because God used all 7,
. . . only once in the Bible
concerning the 7th day.

Sanctified = set apart for a holy use

Notice God's significant words
are not mentioned concerning the First Day

None of God's special words apply to the first day.

Exodus 20:8
"Remember the
Sabbath day, to keep it holy."

Isaiah 66:22-23

22 “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the LORD, “so will your name and descendants endure. 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the LORD.

Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas

  Aleph
119 Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord!
2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart!
3 They also do no iniquity;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To keep Your precepts diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were directed
To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commandments.
7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Oh, do not forsake me utterly!

Worship only the Creator. Not creation

Ask yourself, in the past 6,000-years how many times
does man THINK he changed God's commandments?
Only once!

Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The only commandment (law) that contains a time element is the 4th commandment. Both versions of the 10-commandments

Mark 7:7 - 9  (NKJV)
7 And
in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For
laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of menthe washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”
9
He said to them, “All too well
you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

Acts 5:29 (KJV)
29Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said,
We ought to obey God rather than men
.

John 14:21 (NKJV)
"
He who has My commandments
and keeps them,

it is he who loves Me.
And he who loves Me
will be loved by My Father,
and I will love him
and
manifest Myself to him."

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. = 360 days (time) + 720 days (times) + 180 days (half of time) = 1260 years = Major World Power Ruled 538 AD to 1798 = Papal Rome

Biblical  Year = 360 days Bible Year

These 3-items symbols reveal the 1260 years

Time
1260 days

Ezekiel 4:6 "appoint thee a day for a year"

is the only one with a time element.

===================

We are born of the flesh and God's
Spirit is missing since Adam and Eve sinned.

Galatians 5:1-6 (NKJV)
Christian Liberty
5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (NKJV)

The Great Apostasy
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,

2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the
day of Christ had come.

3
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that
Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God
in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

God's 4th Commandment

Exodus 20 New King James Version
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Moses' law was the temporary, ceremonial law of the Old Testament. It regulated the priesthood, sacrifices, rituals, meat and drink offerings, etc., all of which foreshadowed Christ Jesus.

Psalm 111:8-10
New King James Version (NKJV)

8 They stand fast forever and ever,
And are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He has sent redemption to His people;
He has commanded His covenant forever:
Holy and awesome is His name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever.

==============================================

Psalm 111:8-10
Common English Bible (CEB)

8 they are established always and forever:
they are fulfilled
with truth and right doing.
9 God sent redemption for his people;
God commanded
that his covenant last forever

Holy and awesome is God’s name!
10 Fear of the LORD
is where wisdom begins;
sure knowledge
is for all who keep God’s laws
God’s praise lasts forever!
 =======================================

Psalm 111:8-10
Wycliffe Bible (WYC)

8 confirmed into the world of world; made in truth and equity. (confirmed forever, and made in truth and goodness.)

9 The Lord sent redemption to his people; he commanded his testament [into] without end. His name is holy and dreadful; (The Lord sent and redeemed his people; he commanded that his covenant should endure forever. His name is holy and fearful/His name is holy and worthy to be praised;)

10 the beginning of wisdom is the dread of the Lord. Good understanding is to all that do it; his praising dwelleth into the world of world. (the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord/the beginning of wisdom is to revere the Lord. All who obey his commandments grow in wisdom; praise shall be his forever.)

God's 4th commandment is the only Law that
contains a time element (Sabbath - Saturday), and the term to REST.

Many think this is the hardest rule God
could ever asked us to keep.

REST

Question:
Since many
think the Sabbath changed to Sun worship day, do they REST?

Revelation 14:11 "no rest day" "receive the mark"?

It's hard to tell a counterfeit until you
study

God's word enough to know the original.

There are 2 days a week that are for worship

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist
The
term or title antichrist, in Christian theology, is a leader
who fulfills Biblical prophecies
concerning an adversary
of Christ
, while resembling him in a deceptive manner

Against Christ = in replacement of Christ = Appears like Christ

Daniel 9:27 New American Standard Bible
27 And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of
the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering

It's real clear what God is saying in the last
couple of pages before it is to late.

Mark of the beast

Revelation 14:11 (NKJV)
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have
no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Seal of God

Revelation 14:12
12 Here is the perseverance of God’s holy people (saints) who keep the
commandments of God

and their faith in Jesus

Seal of God

Revelation 22:14, 15 King James Version (KJV)
14Blessed are they that
do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Seal of God

Revelation 12:17 (KJV)
17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Matthew12:
1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. 2 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath!”

3 But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4 how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? 6 Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple. 7 But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.

"If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing
your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,

Isaiah 58:
14 then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the LORD has spoken."

We are born of the flesh and because Adam and Eve sinned, God Spirit died, and it is are job to read God's Word till we except or receive the grace and faith and have to get God's Spirit back into us, or we will not be part of eternal life.

Starting with following God commandments.  By keeping His commandments will not get us into heaven. There is more. We have to gather the oil for our lamps.

Blind man's buff is when people pull the wool over a person's
eyes, because they don't totally understand something.

A dad put his son on his knee and asked, son, if I had a little lamb and called his tail a leg, how many legs would he have. The boy said 5.
Again the dad said, boy, if I had a little lamb and called his tail a leg, how many legs would he have. The boy said 5.
He said to the boy, just because I call it something, doesn't make it so.

Realize that calling something doesn't necessary make it so.

Luke, the writer of the book of Luke and Acts, a physician.
Listen very carefully to what is says when he first starts out the book of Luke.

Acts 1:1
"The former account I made, O Theophilus, of
all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2. until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit has given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God."

Luke says, he has recorded, all the things, Jesus began and to teach
So that makes it clear that Luke record those things. So, you and I, need look at;

Now Luke says, he recorded everything. Luke is very
detailed than all the rest of the writers.

Does the Scripture anywhere say that
God blessed, hallowed, and sanctified the first day?

NO

Sanctify is mentioned 40-times in the Bible

PREPARATION DAY
Good Friday

Luke 23:52
"This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus."

Luke 23:53
Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before."

Luke 23:54
"That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near."

Luke 23:55
"And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid.

Luke 23:56
"Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment."

People ask, do you really think the Sabbath is important?
If those women would not even embalm the body of Jesus Christ on a Saturday, how important do you think the Sabbath is?

Luke 24:1
"Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared."

Luke 24:2
"But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb."

Luke 24:3
"Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus."

1st DAY OF THE WEEK
Easter Sunday

There is nothing in these scriptures saying God took the
first day of the week, and blessed it, sanctified or hallowed it.

These scriptures just say that Jesus rose on the first day of the week.

Luke recorded all that took place.
Let's look at what the other apostles say.

Matthew 28:1
"Now after the
Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb."

Do you know when the gospel of Matthew was written?

GOSPEL OF MATTHEW
60 A.D.
29-years after Christ died

If there had been a change in the day of worship, the Sabbath
don't you think Matthew would of said something about it.

In the gospel of Matthew, there is nothing in it about God changing, blessing, sanctifying, or hallowing the first day of the week.

So now lets go and see what Mark says

Mark 16:1
"Now when the
Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him."

This says the women are coming to anoint Him
They are not coming for the purpose of worship.

Why are they coming so early? In other text,
it says their coming at the rising of the sun.
They come early because
rigor mortis has set in.
Also they need to do their work while it is cool. It takes about
300-pounds of herbs and spices to prepared a body. And this
is hard, hard work.

Mark 16:2
"Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week
they came to the tomb when the sun had risen."

They have to take care of His body quickly because rigor mortis has already set in.

John 19:39
And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came, bring a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds."

Here again in scriptures there is nothing mentioning God
blessings, sanctifying or hallowing the first day of the week.

Mark 16:9
"Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene,

John 20:1
"Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb."

Mary Magdalene goes there when it is still dark
and found the stone had been taken away.

Here again in scriptures there is nothing mentioning God
blessings, sanctifying or hallowing the first day of the week.

John 20:2
"They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him. '"

John 20:19
"Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you.'"

Here in John 20:19 does it mention any thing about meeting for worship?
No, they are meeting for fear of the Jews. They fear that they might be
taken and crucified. Basically, the text is saying they are hiding.

 John 20:20
"When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side.
Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord."

Here again in scriptures there is nothing mentioning God
blessings, sanctifying or hallowing the first day of the week.

This is all the text in the gospels that mention, the first day of the week. That it.

There are only 3-more text in the Bible that mention the first day of the week. One in the Old Testament. And 2-more in the New Testament.

1 Corinthians 16:1
"Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also;

1 Corinthians 16a:2
2On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may proper, that there be no collections when I come."

What does this mean? That their not going to take an offering.
In that area they use the barter system to this day. If you had a bushel of wheat you might trade it for a chicken. Or if you had some corn, you might trade it for a bushel of corn. Paul is basically saying to gather it up and set it aside for when they come though, they do not have to wait for them to gather what they are going to give.

Does the passage say the "first day"
is a day of worship or holy day?

NO

Does it command God's people to gather on the "first day" for church service?

NO

Does it say they were meeting each
first day for worship?

NO

Does this passage refer to a public meeting?

NO

1 Corinthians 16:3
"And when I come, whomever you approve by your
letters I will send to bear your gift to Jerusalem."

Acts 11:27
"And in these days prophets came from Jerusalem  to Antioch."

Acts 11:28
"Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the
Spirit
that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar."

Acts 11:29
"Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea."

Acts 11:30
"This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul."

What is the back ground here. Where is the gift going to?

Eight translations of the Bible say "privately" or "at home."

This meeting is happening on the first day of the week.

They gathered because Paul opened this church and the people loved him. And they had a last super because the were not going to see him again. They spent all night there and celebrated super with them.

This is the only text in the Old Testament that mentions the first day of the week.

Genesis 1:5
"God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.
So the evening and the morning were the first day."

God is telling us that the
day begins at sunset.

Leviticus 23:32
". . . from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath."

Acts 20:7
"Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came
together to break break, Paul, ready to depart the next day,

Here again in scriptures there is
nothing mentioning
God blessings, sanctifying or hallowing
the first day of the week.

New English Bible
Acts 20:7
"On the Saturday night, in our assembly for the breaking of bread."

God says the first day of the week is a work day

Ezekiel 46:1
"Thus says the Lord GOD: 'The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened.'"

Acts 20:8
There were many lamps in the upper room where they were gathered together."

This means it is taking place at night.

Acts 20:9
"And in a window sat a certain young man
named Eutychus, who was sinking into a
deep sleep. He was overcome by sleep;
and as Paul continued speaking, he fell
down from the third story and was taken up dead."

This meeting is taking place on the 3rd story
according to the scriptures. A warm Summer evening.

Two things to learn from this passage.
You shouldn't go to sleep on the preacher.
The preacher shouldn't be long winded.

Acts 20:10
"But Paul want down, fell on him,
and embracing him said, 'Do not
trouble yourselves, for his life is in him.'"

Acts 20:11
"Now when he had come up,
had broken bread and eaten,
and talked a long while, even
till daybreak, he departed.'"

Acts 20:12
"And they brought the young
man in alive, and they were not
a little comforted."

He fell out of the window about midnight
his life was restored to him
went back upstairs and talked
all night long, and the next morning Paul leaves.

FACTS

* This is a night meeting.
* Paul's third missionary journey.

This is one of 3-missionary journeys. This the last missionary journeys of Paul.

Acts 21:10
"And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea."

Paul want to go to Jerusalem because the Feast of Unleavened Bread is taking place in Jerusalem. There will Jewish people from all over the nation. This will be an excellent opportunity to talk to the Jews about Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit has told Paul that if he goes that he is going to be bound and taken to Rome. The Holy Spirit does not tell Paul not to go. Just tells him what is going to happen to him. Paul is under conviction, he needs to go on.

Acts 21:11
"When he had come to us, he took Paul's belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, 'Thus says the Holy Spirit, 'So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.'"

Paul knows what is before him. So do the believers. Paul started the church of Agabus. Those people loved him. He is spending the weekend there with them.

* This is a night meeting.

* Paul's third missionary journey.

* Paul is going to Jerusalem.

* Farewell meeting for Paul.

* Paul's companions catch a ship to Assos.

Acts 20:13
"Then we went ahead and to the ship and sailed to Assos, there intending to take Paul on board; for so he had given orders, intending himself to go on foot.

20:7

Now on the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight."

There are 9 text mentioning the first day of the week.
There are around 150-text supporting the
Sabbath

God never blessed, hallowed or sanctified
any other day than the
Sabbath
and there are no texts in the Bible
that support the claim that Sunday is a holy day.

Baptist Manual
Dr. Edward T. Hiscox

"There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will be said, however, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week, with all its duties, privileges, and sanctions. Earnestly desiring information on this subject, which I have studied for many years, I ask, where can the record of such transaction be found. Not in the New Testament, absolutely not. There is no such Scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week."

 What brought about the change?

The Jewish people are in revolt about Roman Empire and the

oooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

In over 105 languages in the world, the word for the
seventh day of the week is "Sabbath."

Sabado / Spanish
Mitwoch in German means middle of week    This means Saturday is the last day of the week.

"What a pity that it [Sunday] comes branded with the mark of paganism, and christened with the name of the sun god, then adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!"

  1. Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week (Matt. 28:1-7; Mark 16:2, 9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1).
  2. Jesus appeared to the disciples on the first day of the week (John 20:19).
  3. Jesus appeared inside the room to the eleven disciples eight days after the first day of the week.  The Jewish way of measuring days meant that it was again Sunday
    (John 20:26).
  4. The Holy Spirit came on Pentecost, the first day of the week (Lev. 23:16; Acts 2:1).
  5. The first sermon was preached by Peter on the first day of the week (Acts 2:14).

  7. The three thousand were baptized on the first day of the week (Acts 2:41).
  8. The Christians assembled broke bread on the first day of the week.
  9. The Christians also heard a message from Paul on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7).  Note:  the reference is until midnight which is not the Jewish method of measuring days, but the Roman system.
  10. Paul instructed the churches to put aside contributions on the first day of the week
    (1 Cor. 16:2).
  11. Jesus gave the apostle John the vision of Revelation on the first day of the week
